RFP for Outreach and Education Services

Coastal Counties Workforce, Inc. (CCWI) has issued a Request for Proposal (RFP) for community-based organizations to conduct outreach and education activities that increase referrals to workforce programs administered by CCWI. The RFP is focused on outreach to single parents and priority populations as identified in the RFP.

We urge you to disseminate this information to any parties you feel would be suitable.  All applicants should submit their responses by noon on August 2, 2024. No phone calls, please.

RFP Outreach and Education Services 7-8-24

The following were questions that were submitted during the inquiry period that ended at 4:00pm on July 15, 2024:

We are an ECBO serving immigrant women and families, and we do not serve Native Mainers. Will this affect our eligibility?
– No this will not affect eligibility.

Currently, our coverage is limited to Cumberland and York County. Is this acceptable?
– That is acceptable.

Is there anything further you can share about the expecting reporting requirements, and the way in which data and reporting will be submitted? (Will these be submitted to Workforce Solutions? Does it require the use of Maine Job Link?)
– Reporting requirements for this RFP have not been finalized, However, Workforce Solutions will be involved.
– All reports will be submitted to CCWI.
– No, it does not require the use of Maine JobLink.

The staff training that is cited in the key responsibilities section of the RFP, does this refer to training of Workforce Solutions staff, or would this be for our own project staff? Directly to community members?
– The staff training referenced in the RFP is for the awardee’s project staff, not Workforce Solutions.

Is there a period of time that the current QUEST grant is bound to?
– September 30, 2024
